About 25 volunteers are needed for a city-sponsored Adopt-A-Stream project in Waikīkī. The event, hosted by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Pacific Regional Visitor Center, will meet at 9 a.m. at Fort DeRussy above the Army Museum. Must be 13 years and older. About 300 volunteers are needed for an Adopt-A-Stream clean-up, sponsored by the city, in the Mānoa-Pālolo area. The clean-up, which is a collaboration with the Ala Wai Watershed Association and Kaimukī High School, runs from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Meet at the Mānoa-Pālolo drainage canal near the Date Street bridge. Volunteers are needed to remove litter and cut back streambank vegetation along the canal. Must be 13 years and older. Supplies and refreshments will be provided. 2008 Mauka to Makai Expo, Waikiki Aquarium
