U.S. Coral Reef Task Force, Keauhou Outrigger Hotel

The U.S. Coral Reef Task Force, established by Proclamation in 1998, will hold its bi-annual meeting at the Keauhou Outrigger Hotel on the Big Island in August. These meetings are usually attended by the deputy assistant secretaries of the Department of the Interior and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, senior members of federal agencies and government officials. In addition to the business meeting of the CRTF, there will be several workshops and public events celebrating the International Year of the Reef. www.coralreef.gov.
